COAL REGULATIONS.
ACTION IN VICTORIA. Received May 1, 10.20 p.m. Melbourne, May 1. Coal regulations have been issued empowering the Prime Minister to acquire all coal, appoint selling and distiibuting agents, fix rate* of wages, conditions of employment, determine the compensation to owners, fix the selling price, and cancel or suspend contracts for supply.—Aus. aud N.Z.
