The New Zealand Government agent states that 200 New Zealanders are stranded in Sydney as the result of the embargo on traffic to the Dominion, and many are seeking temporary work. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. COAL COMMANDEERED. i Melbourne, May 1. Mr. Watt has anounced that the Government has decided to commandeer all coal in the Commonwealth. The decision has been arrived at owing to the action of the New South Wales Government injuring industry and that the coal strike at the present time is paralysing industries in all States but New South Wales.
