Infernal machines were found in.tlie mails addressed to prominent people throughout the United States, chiefly opponents of the I.W.W, propaganda A negro maid in ex-Senator Hardwick'a household had her hand blown off while opening a parcel containing bombs -Rent through the post. Ex-Senator Hardwick was formerly prosecuting attorney in Washington County, Georgia. Several parcelled bombs were addressed to the Californian district attorney.—Au«. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
