ANNUAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. For the first time in three years, the annual conference of commercial travellers and warehousemen of New Zealand is again being held, and opened in Auckland to-day. The Mayor formally welcomed the delegates, and said he could scarcely find words to express his appreciation of the patriotic services rendered by the commercial travellers. Mr. J. Brown replied. The conference then passed a resolution in regard to the conclusion of t«o war, after which the president (Mr. J. Garrett) delivered his annual address, He remarked that the financial condition of the association was so sound that the sphere of its work would be considerably extended if members so desired.
