THE BOYAIZHY QUESHtW. London, April 25. There was a heated scene on the Coal Commission when Mr. Smillie, Sir iChiozza Money, and others representing I the miners threatened to withdraw as a protest against Mr. Leslie Scott intervening on behalf of the royalty owners. Subsequently Sir John Sankey agreed to Mr. Smillie's proposal to subpoena Lords Bute, Dnnraven, Northumberland, Durham, Londonlerry, and others in order to examine their titles and investigate their incomes from royalties. The objection was raised that it would require a pantechnicon van to carry Lord Durham's titles.—Aus.-N-Z. Cable Assn.
