RATEPAYERS' ASSOCIATION.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR TO-MORROW'S POLL. A largely-attended and representative meeting of municipal electors was held last night at the Soldiers' Club, under the auspices of the New Plymouth Ratej payers' Association, to deal with matters in connection with to-morrow's elections, l Mr. C. Carter presided. The borough I was blocked out into areas and a captain appointed for each to make the necessary provision for voters being brought to the polling booths. A large number of motor cars were offered for use in connection with the election, and Mr. Percy Stainton was appointed to control the car service. The meeting also resolved to put the full weight of its energy into the Harbor Board loan proposals in order to assist in having them carried at the poll.
