MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS. £ADIES AND GENTLEMEN,— Having acceded to the request of numerous Ratepayers from all parts of our borough to contest this Municipal Election, with utilitarian motives I offer my services. For the past three years I have contributed to our press my views on progressive municipal administration; those views most of you arc familiar'with, and, if elected, I will conscientiously support a fair deal to all residents in the direction of equal attention in expenditure for roads, footpaths, sanitation, water supply, lighting, etc., public conveniences, and closer attention to our reserves, advocating the re-instating of tram-fare concession tickets (which is a vital necessity to residents of our suburbs and financial success to our tram service). More publicity and fuller press reports of our civic administration is essential for the benefit of ratepayers. If elected I shall act without fear or favor, voicing my opinion in the best interests of the municipality. Trusting to merit your confidence, I respectfully solicit your support on the polling day. Yours faithfully, A. J. RICHARDS, Hairdresser, etc., Egmont Street. COUNTY OF CLIFTON.
