Nrtw Zealanders stranded here, owing to slipping restrictions, are indignant at theijf treatment, and have cabled to the Majjor of Wellington asking for financial assistance on behalf of the women and chilfcen.— Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. / COAL MINERS STRIKE. (Received April 23, 9.58 p.m, Sydney, April 23. The coal miners at C'es3nock struck as protest against the number of employees coming from influenza-infected 4owns. Received April 24, 1.20 a.m. Sydney, April 23. Although the miners are using the influenza as an excuse to cease work, it is believed that their action is due to State intervention in the coal crisis. Most of the mines in Maitland and Newcastle are idle and it is expected that the southern miners will follow suit.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.

SALE OF SHORTHORN STUD BULLS. Received April 24. 1.20 a.m. Sydney, April 23.
