THE TRANS-ATLANTIC FLIGHT. FOR DAILY MAIL PRIZE. New York, April 22. A telegram in the New York Times from St. John's states that preparations are being made for the arrival of a Hand ley-Page aeroplane, which is expected from England on May 1, for the purpose of competing for the Daily Mail prize Atlantic flight, which will be started from Conception Bay.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. CHICAGO-NEW YORK FLIGHT. New York, April 19. Captain E. F. White, of the United States Army, made a non-stop flight by airplane from Chicago to New York in 0 hours 40 minutes.
