NEW ZEALANDERS DEFEAT ENGLISH. Received April 22, 12.55 a.m. London, April 17. In a Rugby match played at Twickenham, New Zealand beat England by 9 points to 3. The New Zealanders' superiority surprised everybody. They mastered the home team in every department and the hall was seldom in the New Zealand half. The forwards played a magnificent game, repeatedly storming the English line.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Association.
