PATEA. I At the annual meeting of the Patea Club the election or officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. G. V. Penrce, M.P. ; President, Mr. C. M. Strouta; vice-Presidents, Messrs L. T. Adams, E. p. Hemingway, A. M. Williams, Captain Tlnney, A. Davles, J. McCarty, H. 0.. Clarke, Father Duffy, J. Shield, D. Cunningham, C. A, Larcombe, W. D. Powdrell, M. Carey, B, T. Bennett, E. Thompson, A. T. Christenseu, J Coogan, R. w. Hamerton; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Elder; lion, auditor, Mr. R. F. Shield; club captain, Mr. P. H. Tlnney j management committee, C. Carey, D. Calder, E. Thompson, D. Thompson, S. Southcorabe, E. F. Hemingway and C. M. Strnuts w'lh secretary and club captain ex officio. The matter of election of captain and vice-captain was loft over until after the team has met together.
WAIMATE. At the annual meeting of the Waimate Football Club the balance sheet showed a credit of £42 19s Od. The chairman (Mr. J. S. McKay) said since the meeting last year a number of boys had made the supreme sacrifice, the war having taken a big toll of footballers throughout tho Dominion. The war was over now and many boys were returning homo and tiiese, with new ones, should bring the Club up to the old standard. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. A. G. Bennett; President, Mr. J. S. McKay; vice-Presidents, Messrs M. and E. Burke. J. B. Dunn, H. Vine, H. Mclvor, C. J. Kirk, A. H. Christie, J. Christie, J. A. Hansen, M. Lynsky; management committee, G. Ryan, L. Hughes, J. Christie, C. Jones, H. Vine; delegates to Union, Messrs McKay and Hansen; secretary and treasurer, Mr. Geo. H. Meull.
