A FIT OF PANIC. London, April 12. As the result of the Hungarian crisis, the Austrian Cabinet, in a fit of panic, has taken steps to change to a Soviet Government if necessary, but the situation is now easier, owing to the Allies informing Austria that they do not intend to use Austria as a base for operations against Hungary. It is not true that Hungary has declared a Bolshevik war against Serbia and Rouraania. Hungarian peasants continue to be hostile to the new regime.
