AUSTRALIANS BEAT NEW SEALANDERS. Received April 13, 6.3 p.m. Loudon, April 12. In a rugby match at Bradford the Australians, with the assistance of the bub and a heavy wind in the first half, scored two tries. Shortly after the cross-ovei Storey scored and Stohr converted fqi the New Zealanders, who appeared t« be dominating, but the Australian wing forwards broke the All Blacks' combination and maintained the upper hand. The. New Zealanders were disappointing, and played below their true form., especially the forwards. The play throughout wat aggressive, and the tackling on bott sides splendid.
