MEDICAL STUDENT'S SUICIDE.
Received April 9, 10.10 p.m. Sydney, April 9. A verdict of suicide was returned at the inquest on William Sim, the Wellington (New Zealand) medical student who was found dead in his room with the gas turned on. The evidence showed that he had been worried over his failure j to pass the medical examination. He attached a rubber tubing to the gas, placing the other end under the blankets.
