' EVERYBODY'S. ALICE JOYCE IN "THE BUSINESS OF LIFE." "The Business of Life," by Bobert \V. Chambers, ia a powerful novel and has been converted into an equally powerful film by the Vitagraph Co. It is showing to-night and to-morrow at Everybody's with Alice Joyce as the star. Scandal is a particular busy-body and often unscrupulous in its choice of a victim. In "The Business of Life" this is strongly illustrated. Alice Joyce plays the appealing part of the young and innocent girl who marries the man she loved in spite of the whispers regarding his character- The question is was she deceived? Another episode of "The Fatal Ring" also shows with this programme. This serial is screening its final chapter and grows more exciting each week. THE PEOPLE'S. TOM MIX IN "MR. LOGAN, U.S.A." To-night's new bill presents the twogun man, Tom Mix, in a stirring secret service story. The picture shows the inner workings of the United States secret service against the labor agitators of the enemy in the mining country of the west. How these agents are foiled by the activities of a government operator who bears the odium of a slacker in the eyes of the girl he loves that .lie may accomplish his purpose is the theme that is vividly picturised in this photo-drama. On the same bill is Gladys Brockwell in "The Moral Law," a play of thrills, with the star in a dual role. At the matinee to-morrow at 2 p.m. the Rhyming Trades' writing prizes will be presented.
