The committee decided to ask the union to lift the disqualification from Huston Young, who has recently returned from the war after joining up with the fifrfi reinforcements. It is quite unlikely that he will play football, but the club think after his period of active service it would be a graceful act to have the disqualification removed. It will be remembered I that the disqualification was imposed for striking another (Waimato) player in the course of a notorious punching game on the Opunake green between Opunake and Waimate teams. I Another matter that may come under the Uaion's notice is the change of club colors. The local club have a great difficulty/in procuring green jerseys, beHeved§to be due to the scarcity jf dyes of thfcd color . I
