FRANKLEY DAIRY COMPANY.
To the Editor. Sir, —In glancing through your paper the othei morning, I noticed a report of a meeting of milk suppliers at Westown, in which Mr. Baker stated that the directors of the Frankley Dairy Company were "considering the matter" of putting on a motor lorry to cart the Westown milk, etc. As this is a matter which has come up quite suddenly and concerns all shareholders, I beg leave to submit the following little sum to those to whom it may concern:
Leaving a debit balance at the end of the financial year (to come off the socalled bonus) of £l7O. But I don't suppose suppliers will mind this much as they have on a previous occasion made up a similar sum, principally for the benefit of those same Westown suppliers.—l am, etc. "LET THERE BE LIGHT."
Interest on cost of lorry £800 at Q% £ s. d. per cent 52 0 Drivers' Wages, £4 per week 208 0 Benzine and oil 200 o Depreciation at 20 per cent 160 0 Repairs and renewals nil £620 0 Against Uiis—cartage of butter-fat from 225 cows at I61bs per cow at Id per lb 150 0 G Factory, cartage cheese etc 300 0 0 450 0 £170 0 0
