BOLSHEVIK AGITATION. Capetown, April 4. A Pietermaritzburg message states that there is active Bolshevist a' propaganda in Natal, Pietermaritzburg is flooded with leaflets headed "The Bolshevists are coming," and calling oil the workers, black and white, to get ready for a world-wide republic. One arrest ha 3 been made under the Public Welfare Act. TROUBLE WITH NATIVES. Capetown, April 5The native position on the Rand appears more serious. The authorities arrested the ringleaders and a large crowd of natives congregated in the precincts of the court. When the court adjourned the natives made a concertecl move towards the entrance of the prisoners' yard. The police, armed with their staff?, charged and made many arrests- Numbers were injured. The natives at Vredeorp also caused trouble. After holding a meeting they assaulted a European. The mounted police were summoned ami speedily mastered the situation. Later a collision occurred between Eurtopeans and natives. Three natives were shot and several whites injured. Later a Johannesburg message states, the strike was settled, terms being drafted.
