FIRES.
CHEESE FACTORY DESTROYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Woodville, April 7. The Papatawa cheese factory was totally destroyed by fire early on Sunday morning. The factory was well equipped, costing about £2OOO when erected. Over one hundred crates of cheese, worth between £7OO and £BOO, were destroyed The insurances were £BOO on the buildings, £230 on the plant, £4OO on stock of cheese, £3OO on manufacturing stock, a total of £2230. The company are considerable losers. The whole of the insurance is with the Farmers' Mutual.
