It is reported in London that the Hungarian Soviet Government lias declared war against Servia and the surrounding countries.—Aus. and N.Z, Cablp Assoc. LOOSENING THE MARRIAGE TIE. London, March 28. _ The Hungarian revolutionary authorities have issued a decree that illegitimate children shall have equal rights with legitimates; two people living together for a year shall be regarded as lawfully married; husbands and wives living apart shall be permitted to enter on a new marriage, cancelling their former obligations. The Red Army receives full rations, the lower middle-class half, the bourgeoisie a most meagre fraction.—Aub.N.Z. Cable Assn.
