ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND DEAD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cambridge, April 4. A well-known Cambridgo business man, Frederick Totts, was found dead in the Cambridge Domain at an early hour this morning with a bullet wound in his head. He had been worrying about his health lately. FATE OP AN UNWANTED. Wanganui, April 4. The body of a child not fully developed was found in the river to-day, wrapped in canvas similar to a motor car hood. A DANGEROUS rBACTTOE. " ' Christchurch, April 4. At the inquest of Edward Francis MoGirr, 6'/ 2 years, who died from the result of injuries sustained through being run over J>y a motor car, a verdict was returned that the toy met death as the result of nn accident, there being no evidence of negligent driving. The envoner added that the practise of children running in the rear of travelling vehicles was highly dangerous, and that the attention of members of education boards and school committees be directed to the practice. DEATH BY POISON. Invercargill, Last Night. Aif. McLean, a married returned soldier, who was admitted to Southland Hospital a little while ago because he was morose and low-spirited, was found lying on the floor of the bathroom at the institution suffering from the effeota of poison on Thursday evening, and died shortly afterwards. It is believed the poison was self-administered, but it is not known how he obtained it.
