BANQUET TO VISITING STATESMEN. London, April 1. The Allied press entertained Mr. Hughes, Sir Robert Borden', Mr. Massey and Sir Joseph Ward at a dinner. Sir Charles Guerner, French High Commissioner in London, said that the people of Prance would always carry in their hearts the names of Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and South Africa. Sir Robert Borden and Messrs. Hughes and Massey briefly replied.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
