For a considerable time there has been great difficulty in obtaining the,services of senior nurses for administrative positions in the hospitals, and the Christchurch Hospital Board has been recommended by a committee to communicate with other boards with a view to bringing pressure to bear upon the military authorities to release gome of the nurses who had returned to New Zealand so that thy might take up work in civilian hospitals.
