The resumption of the wool auctions is awaited with g'eat interest, and a keen demand is expected for superior sorts. It is felt that increased production is vital to the restoration of the trade's prosperity. It is not anticipated that there will be any great Continental demand for raw material, because the manufacturing industry in France ami Belgium has not yet begun to recover from the effects of the invasion.
