LOSSES' OF SHOPKEEPERS. Sydney, March 29. A meeting of manufacturers carried a resolution suggesting that the Government compensate them for the losses incurred in the abandonment of this Show. The general loss to the Stati! is estimated at two millions.—Aus.-N.Z, Cable. Assn.
SOME MILD CASES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, March 29. Sixteen cases of influenza have been reported in the Auckland district in the past seven days. There has been only one severe case and no deaths notified since the recurrence of the malady in its present mild form.
