The New York Times interviewed .Mr. Godfrey Isaacs, managing director ot t hp Marconi Company, who said: "I have no doubt we will soon be able to develop . practical commercial telephone between London and New York."—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. Received March 31,12.30 a.m. Washington, March 20. It is officially announced that one-way wireless telephone conversations were held with the steamer George Washington from New Jersey station until the vessel reached Brest. President Wilson listened to Mr Daniels speaking, but was unable to reply, as the ship was not equipped with an apparatus tjr sending wireless telephone messages--Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc.
