KEW RESTRICTIONS IN SYDNEY. AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY'S LOSS. Sydney, March 27. The masking regulation applies to all public conveyances, but there will be no embargo upon outdoor sports, churches, and theatres. A further regulation ia about to be issued which prohibits persons remaining more than five minutes in hotel bars. The Government has requisitioned the show grounds and buildings for hospital accommodation. The financial loss to the Agricultural Society by the abandonment of the show will amount to £2o,ooo.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT. Recaived March 27, 10.30 p.m. Sydney, March 27. Dr. Reid, chief quarantine officer, lias ollicia'liv notified Cabinet of the excellent results achieved among influenza patients nl the .North Head by the following treatment: Fifteen gram doses of calcium lactate every four hours, and vaccine containing 125 million influenza baccilli and eighty million pneumococci.
