CORRESPONDENCE.
To the Editor. Sir,—Mr. J. 0. Taylor, in his letter, makes a good comparison, but it is not, complete. He has told us of the man with a warehouse adjoining the man with his cottage, but what about the man w!u> has one or two empty and idle sections, adjoining the workman's house? Will Mr Taylor tell us. Seems to me the new scheme would become a tax on acres, not on value. But Mr. Taylor's comparisons are only imaginative, and could hardly exist in reality. And, in any case, every reform hurts someone a little—even prohibition, State control and co-operation —I am, etc., IGNORAMUS. Inglewood, March 25.
