DIVERTING TRADE FROM GERMANY. Paris, March 19. British, I"renoh, Italian, Belgian, Swiss, Serbian, Roumanian and Greek diplomatic and technical delegates are considering a new railway service via Paris, Milan, Trieste, Agrain and Belgrade, ultimately reaching Odessa viaBucharest, also to Bombay, via Constantinople and Bagdad. This service would divert trade from Germany to the Allies, and explains the British Government's sanction to the construction of the Channel tunnel.—Aua -N.Z. Cable Assn.
