ARRIVED. Wellington, March 25.—Baden Powell, 5.45 p.m., from New Plymouth. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived at the usual time yesterday morning from Onehunga, and sailed again at night for the north after, the arrival of the mail train. The Corlnna was engaged yesterday in loading butter for transhipment to the Hororata at Wellington. She is scheduled to leave at 1 pjn. to-day for the south. THE GLAUCUS. The Glaucus, which arrived from Noumea on Friday evening and was berthed on Saturday ; afternoon, expects to commence discharging today. The vessel has been delayed on account of the shortage of labor, the other vessels In port having absorbed all the available men. The Kowhai and the Baden Powell were in port when the Glaucus arrived, and since then the Corlnna has come and has been engaged In loading dairy produce for transhipment at Wellington, and the Rarawa from Onehunga was engaged in the port yesterday. The Glaucus left the port of Noumea on the evening of the 14th Instant, and made the trip down to New Plymouth in exactly 7 days. She had a good tr'p all the way, excepting that she encountered strong headwinds the whole way down—a most unusual occurrence. Otherwise the trip was uneventful. Captain Reece-Reynolds is in command. The vessel has brought 1675 tons of guano from Walpole and Surprise Islands to the order of Cathie and Dempster, of Wellington, for whom Mr. W. D. Webster, of New Plymouth, Is acting as> agent. Captain ReeceReynolds Is in command of the Glaucus, and has with him Mr. Canies as chief officer, Mr. Chambers as second, and Mr. Sara as chief engineer.
