CHURCH UNION. Received March 24, 7-53 p.m. Sydney, March 24. The committee of the Presbyterian, Methodist and Congregational churches of New South Wales, reporting on the question of church union, declares that no doctrinal differences bar the way to union; that the creeds and declaration.* have been modified, and a .statement of doetrina reached which conserves the fundamental verities previously held. The _ matter now rests with the churches to ask their people to give an answer. SELF-DETERMINATION FOR IRELAND. Sydnev. March li. A meeting in connection with St. Patrick's Day celebrations authorised Archbishop Kelly to cable the King and President Wilson in favor of an immediate application of the principles of self determination to Ireland —Aus--N.Z.
