GOLF.

EASTER TOURNAMENT. There has been considerable inquiry for programmes for the Taranaki Easter golf tournament. Players from Wellington, Masterton, and Palmerston North have already notified that they will enter. The course is in splendid order, and excellent golfing conditions can be promised to intending players. The course has been well stocked all the summer and has never been faster than at present. Working bees have been busy weeding and top-dressing the greens and with the present rains these promise to be very true.
