CANTERBURY PRODUCE MARKET. Christchurch, March 18. The uor-'west gales on Sunday and Monday stripped the covering off many, of the piles of sacks of grain in the field, and farmers are naturally now more anxious to get their grain away. Millars, however, are still indifferent about adding any more wheat at present to their stocks, unless may be a little short heavy, and there is very little storage room available in the town! Growers of oats are now deciding to hold until there is a definite market price, consequently no sales are yet taking place. In the country the wind has caused some damage to stacks of oats being held for chaff, but fortunately there .has been no rain to add to the trouble. The market is quiet in every line of grain, seeds and produce, and until an actual demand sets in from other parts, it is not likely that much business will be done.
