ELECTRIFICATION OF MAIN LINES. London, March 18Sir Eric Geddcs indicated that the immediate electrification of the main lines would be undertaken, and would, he believed, prove remunerative. He annuonced that the control of the roads would be placed in a separate department under General Maybury, who had a great reputation in connection with roads in France—-Aus.A' Z, Cable Assn.
