The Independent Oddfellows of the firand Lodge decided to recommend each lodge to secure a roll of honor, and instructed the executive to arrange for a permanent memorial for the Centenary Order, which eventuates next month. In the afternoon the conference considered remits. A motion to move the Grand Lodge office from Dunedin was defeated, also a motion to increase the size of the executive Officers were elected as follow:—Grand Master, R. Robb Cvisbome); depntv, fl. M- Talbot (Fairlee) : grand secretary, Wm. Reid (Dunedin); srand treasurer, L. D. Ritchie (Dunedin). SOLDIERS AND UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS. Wellington. Last Night, At a recent meeting the University Senate passed regulations specially providing for soldiers whose matriculation examinations have been interfered with by service. It is now announced that those • desiring to avail themselves of the concessions should apply to the university college in their own district.
