A, Cox (Captain Anderson), bound from Pago Pago to Sydney, was on Are jin the forehold. The fire was caused by the ignition of phosphorus. Arrangements were made for the steamer Levuka to go to the Cox's assistance, but at 3.40 this morning a report was received that the fire was under control, and that the voyage to Sydney had been resumed.
