Purchasers and lovers of liie pedigree Ayrshire? flocked to Momnalmki from various part* of the North and South Islands. The ••attio were in excellent condition, and Ihe arrangements for conducting ths salt could not have been better, due to the untiring and exacting efl'orts of the farm's popular manager, Mr. T. W. Lonsdale, and his stall. T.imeheon was supplied by (he farm, after which the officiating firm's auctioneer, Mr. Nelson Morris, in a few opening remarks on tin quality and standard of the cattle, commenced a very brisk sale, with the fol lowing result :
