PREPARATIONS FOR ANY FUTURE EPIDEMIC. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Board of I'nblic Health held its initial meeting to-day. The Hon. (!. W. Russell said it was not intended on the present occasion to deal with the general duties imposed upon the board, but rather to discuss the possibility of recrudescence of inlluen/a and steps to deal with a further outbreak.
