A SUBSIDY TO FLOUR MILLERS.

The Board of Trade has decided to 1 r"commend the Government to grant a f» subsidy to flour millera in order to pre* vent an advance in price of bread, Which von ,1 otherwise be inevitable on account of the increases in price of wheat *cks and manufacturing charges' The board is sitting in Auckland, and it was explained to-day that an advance of ctflhtpence per bushel in the price of wheat was equivalent to £1 12s per ton on the reckoning of 48 bushels to the ton. s l" 1 * risen from 10Ad to Is 3d racli.
