STRIPPED BARE BY THE HUNS, GREAT MASS STARVING, Received March 17, 8.20 p.m. London, March 12. Interviewed by the Pall Mall Gazette, the Queen of Ronmania pictured the continued and continuous privations of her people. Germany has stripped the country bare of everything, including all facilities of transport. The country was ravaged perhaps even to a greater extent than Belgium. Hunger was felt in every home, and the great mass of women and children were starving from hunger. The position was admittedly dangerous, but Bolshevism has no hold. She urged that Roumania otl'cred great opportunities for British commercial enterprise, but she placed first the dire need of food and clothing.—L'hited Service.
