A meeting of the executive of the Association wus held on Sal'; .'day afternoon, Mi'. J. \V. Boon pros'. Some time was taken up in hearing a protost lodged by Mi: Perry against an award made to Mr. (iadsby in the horse .section. Jt was resolved to further consider the question at the next meeting. The general committee then met. The judge of the Juvenile Judging Competition, Mr. F. Kanford, forwarded a lmglhy letter, giving details of the iui'ging (already published). The letter tvas received and a vote of thanks was aivorilcd to Mr. Ranford for his work.

The executive reported that the l Miuuls had again been leased for six itn-.silis at a rental of 4ttgns. The ladies, who again undertook the catering arf.'ti'gtments, were congratulated upon the success they obtained, for which the members owed them a debt of gratitude. The profits from the catering were approximately £ll2, and from the ice stall about £54. The new stall was a great impuvement, It was proposed to hold (lie annual concert later in the year. An appeal was made to those who had not paid their subscriptnns to do so as early as possible, and (he general committee was urged to make an effort, to secure as many new members as possible before the annual meeting. Mr. Dinsle stated it was a pity they could not hold conferences of these associations. They could discuss dates of snows, catering, etc.
