DECISION OF CONFERENCE. LEAGUE PART OF PEACE TREATY. Received March 16, 11.10 p.m. Paris, March 15. President Wilson has cabled to Washington: "Plenary conference has definitely decided that the League of Nations shall bo part of the peace treaty." —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. NEUTRALS' VIEWS SOUGHT. SWITZERLAND'S PROPOSAL. Received March IC, 5.5 p.m. Paris, March 13. The Council of Ten has invited neutrals to furnish their views and criticism on the League of Nations by the 20th, with a view to amending the covenant consonant, with their desires as far as practicable. This may lead to a series of conversations or informal conferences with representatives of the neutral nations.
Switzerland desires to see more definite rules regarding future admissions to the League, by which the executive council will be able to say judicially whether any of the nations have lived up to these rules. Geneva is mentioned as the League's probable home, notwithstanding the views in favor of The Hague and Brussels. The Czechoslovaks Commission has completed its labors without any great difficulty.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc.
