ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDK WHTT..R TEMPORARILY INSAXK. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. All inquest was held at Palmerston on Saturday touching the death of William Johnston M'Cara Ross, who was found dead in bed at the residence of his father, James Ross, at Bushev Road, with a revolver at his side. The evidence showed that deceased was a single man, forty-six years of age, strong and healthy until he went to the Boer War, where he had enteric. He was also thrown from his horse about twelve years ago, and was unconscious for nine days. He complained of feeling weak, and sometimes suffered from ts of depression. The jury returned a verdict that the cause of death was a bullet wound, selfinflicted while suffering from temporary insanity.
