A proposal has been made that Vora berg shall become a canton of Switzei land, but the Italian and French canton oppose, on the ground that it will accen tuate the preponderance of the Germa: population. It is understood that the American re preventatives on the Greek Commissioi are opposed to upholding the Italiai treaty of 1915, on the. ground that i conflicts with President Wilson's four twn points. It. is believed the commission's report will be based on the integ. fify of the treaty, leaving the Council oi Teli to adjudicate on the objections. Signor Orlando and Baron Sonnino have returned from Italy. They exchanged views with representatives of the leading Powers, pointing out that Italy will stand firm on securing Fiume It is rumored that if Italy fails in her Aspirations it may seriously affect hei attitude towards her confederates.—Aus. David, Dr. Mueller, Professor Schnekin, Herr Giesberta, the Bavarian Minister' Herr Breene, Herr Warujrge, a baker of Hamburg.
