In connection with the proposal to Bnk Britain and Australia by wireless, the mymging director of the Amalgamated Wireless of Australasia, Ltd., states that during last year a series of experiments to test the proposal on a commercial basis proved highly successful. A meeting of prominent citizens outlined a programme for peace celebrations, including thanksgiving services, naval and military parade, a peace pageant in the city, illuminations on warships, searchlights display, Venetian carnival and a regatta.
