FARMERS' CO-OP. ORGANISATION SOCIETY'S REPORT.

At Opunake yards on Monday last we held our usual fortnightly sale and weaner fair. There was a very large yarding, every pen being filled and a strong demand ruling throughout, prices being in favor of the vendors. We quote: Fat cows £l2 to £l3 15s, fresh conditioned cows £lO 10s to £ll 10s, forward cows £9 5s to £lO ss, store cows £7 to £9, empty heifers £5 5s to £7 7s 6d, heavy bulls £ls to £l7 10s, others £5 to £l4, 214-year steers in forward condition £8 15s to £ll 2s, 20month steers £6 3s 6d, 20-month heifers £4 to £5, weaner steers £1 10s to £2 16s, weanm heifers £1 10s to £2, store lambs 10s Od to lis 9d, empty ewes 13s to 143. Manaia—Fat cows £l2 10s to £l3, forward and store cows £7 to £lO 15s, bulls £7 to £l2 15s, weaners £1 lis to £2 14s Od, good store lambs 14s to lis, others lis Od, empty ewes 26s 3d, store pigs £2 8s to £2 17s. Sundries suld at ruling prices. At Stratford yards on Tuesday there was a fair yarding of cattle and a good yarding of sheep. Competition was dull, and many lines failed to reach the reserve. The following are some of the prices realised: F.fm. ewes 16s fd to 18s 4d, f.m. f-wes 12s Od to 14s 9d, cull ewes 7s to 8s 9d, store lambs 10s 6d to 15s, Lincoln rams 2gns 10 2%gns, forward cows £S 10s to. £lO 15s, sto.-e cows £5 to £7 10s, boners £3 to .£5, 20-month heifers £3 10s to £4 lis, bulls £5 to £12.105.-. At Ihglewood yards on Wednesday we had a large-yarding-of cattle and ah average yarding of sheep,., which sold at ruling ratea.
