DEVASTATED LANDS. FRANCE'S GREAT LOSS. Received March 13, 1.30 a.m. Paris, March 10. M. Desohanel, president of the Chamber, says that out of six million devastated acres in northern Fiance a quarter of a million will never again be cultivatable. Another million will be cultivatable only at great expense. A million acres of forests have been destroyed.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
