BELGIUM'S CLAIMS URGED. Received March 12, 11.15 p.m. Paris, March 9. Newspapers are strongly in favor of the revision of the 183!) treaty in Belgium's favor, on the ground that Holland violated it by not opposing the passage of German troops.—Aus. H.'A. Cable Association.
A BOLSHEVIK MOVEMENT. NIPPED IN THE BUR Received March 12, midnight. New York, March 10. The New York Tribune's London correspondent states that under the leadership of David Wynkoop, head of the Dutch communist party, the Bolsheviki planned to sei/.e Holland. Large masses of the Dmch industrial population were thoroughly organised and firmed for an uprising. The plot developed during the early days cf the German revolution.' Failure of the plot is due to the prompt action of the Dutch Government,, the lack of success of the Spartacist revolt in Germany, and the timely arrival of American food supplies.—Aus. N.Z.
