HIS FUTURE MOVEMENTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association Christchurch, Last Night. In view of the fact that both the Imperial and the New Zealand Governments are anxious that the GovernorGeneral and Countess Liverpool should visit Samoa and Cook Islands this year, their Excellencies proposed to proceed thither about the middte of Ma v. Owing, however.' to the possibility of peace being proclaimed early in Mav their Excellencies will delav their departure as long as possible, as they are anxious to share in the universal rejoicings which will take place in the Dominion, but, keeping in view the opening of Parliament, and the arrival of the battle cruiser New Zealand, it is essential their departure, should not be indefinitely postponed, an in all probability his Excellency will terminate his extended term of offic" in the late New Zealand autumn of IA2O.
Their Excellencies have made the following nlans—Tx>ave for Dunedin March ?1; arrive in Wellington March 20; leave for Rotorna April 4: leave Rotorua for Auckland April 19: tour Pacific Wands May and .Time; pay farewell visits to chief districts of North Island between July and the end of the year, and then to do the same in the South IslandHis Excellency has been informed that Lord Jellicoe will be in New Zealand from August 28 to October !. Up to now no time has been fixed for the visit of -the Prince of Wales, but a public announcement will be made by the Governor-General as soon as possible after definite information is received.
