THE GERMAN ARMY. SUGGESTIONS AS TO ITS STRENGTH. . Received March 11, 7.45 p.m. London, March 10. The Daily Express' Paris correspondent states that the Supreme War Council's suggestion that Germany's array be limited to a quarter of a million has compromised Marshal Foch's suggestion of 150,000 and the American suggestion of half a million. The Press Bureau states that, according to a Paris commnnique, the Supreme War Council discussed a report by military experts, presented by Marshal Foeh, relative to the definitive of the military status of Germany. The- Daily Chronicle's Psim correspondent says that the fintd decision limits the German army to 100,000 twelve-year votanteers. The decision wa9 reached after M. The Pall Mall Gazette states that Mr. Lloyd George's return to Paris resulted in a great spaeding up of the work. The conference's scheme for feeding Genuity is ready. Thousand* of tons of foodstuffs have accumulated and will be poured in directly peace is signed, which. Is definitely assured before the Mid of the month.
